Taking the beauty crown at the Vuelio Blog Awards 2018 is Caroline Hirons with her self-titled blog. Sharing her years of beauty experience with readers, Caroline posts reviews of the latest products before they hit the shelves, along with helpful cheat sheets from choosing the right SPF for your skin to festival beauty care hacks. Working as a consultant to a number of brands in the industry, Caroline has also set up her own charitable initiative, donating, and encouraging others to donate, surplus products to women and young children in domestic violence shelters.
King of the Daddy bloggers and taking top prize at the Vuelio Blog Awards is The DADventurer. Created back in 2014 by Dave Hornby, The DADventurer covers the highlights of becoming a new dad and includes the parenting lessons Dave’s learnt along the way. With the recent addition of baby ‘Beetle’, The DADventurer blogs and vlogs about what it’s like to be a dad to both a toddler and a new-born in an honest, witty and relatable way.
Food & Drink – Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary
Winner of the 2018 Vuelio Blog Award for Best Food & Drink Blog, Canadian expat Elizabeth Atia, creator of Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary, is considered one of the most northerly bloggers in the UK. Elizabeth originally started her blog in 2011 as a way to share her love of baking as a distraction while studying for her Life Sciences degree. Now a graduate with a First Class Honours degree and one of the go-to food blogs, sharing a variety of recipes, ranging from the unusual sounding Halloween rye and caraway black bread to super easy kale and almond pesto.

Queen of Mummy blogging and adding another Vuelio Blog Award to her collection in 2018, Jo Middleton is the creator of award-winning blog, Slummy Single Mummy. Winner of the Vuelio Blog Award for Best PR and Comms Blog, PRexamples was created by Rich Leigh in 2011 to record all of the creative stunts and campaigns that he came across.
