Vlogger Spotlight: Amazing Arabella
At just twelve years old, Amazing Arabella is one the leading tween influencers. Coming from a family of bloggers and vloggers it was inevitable that Arabella would follow suite. With just under half a million followers and video views on social media Arabella has established herself as one of the leading influencers. Arabella has already been invited to the London Fashion Week, modelled for Burberry and worked on campaigns with Vogue and O2. In this spotlight Arabella chats to us about working with big brands, how her school friends have reacted to her vlogging career, and why she is excited about attending the #VuelioBlogAwards.
How did you get into vlogging? I come from a family of vloggers and bloggers, the content they create is so interesting I thought I would give it a go.
You have a massive following on social media, what’s that like? Its fab, mostly because it means that the topics and content I choose to publish are things that my fans want to read and watch.
How do you come up with ideas to vlog about? I find inspiration from bloggers and vloggers all over the world – I find them so inspiring and it gives me ideas on what I should blog and vlog about.
What’s your favourite topic to vlog about? I love fashion and teen stuff – its such a great learning curve and I am always finding out new things.
What are the challenges of being a vlogger? I love making videos. However, the editing takes time whenever I create content which is frustrating because I am so eager to get it out there and share it with the world.
Have you worked with any big brands? I have worked with Burberry, Vogue, 02, Monsoon, New Look and Kidtropolis, these were all fun campaigns. I’ve also appeared in Michael Buble’s music video “Baby It’s Cold Outside”,
You recently teamed up with Aquabatique and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Zoe Cooper to promote synchronised swimming to young people. How did you find this? Zoe is amazing and she is such a great swimmer. The moves she was teaching me and my brother JD The Kid were so Fab! She said I was a natural and I love water dancing.
How have your friends reacted to your vlogging career? Well, I started high school last year so I didn’t really tell anyone that I am a blogger outside my professional life, but they all sort of found out. I had pupils at my school coming up to me saying: “oh my god! Are you Amazing Arabella?” It was nice and I just smile, I have made lots of new friends at school because of it too!
Have you made friends with other vloggers? Yes – next month I will be at Kidtropolis and other YouTubers Like Tiana, and Nathan Gamer will be there. It’s nice to all be together and have fun!
Once you finish school what would you like to do career wise? Would you like to continue vlogging? I definitely will! I have a music single being released next month called “Bloggerholics”. It’s all about blogging, selfies and sharing stuff with the world.
I’d like to continue vlogging in the future and I think that being an influencer will be a benefit to it. I always tell everyone to start vlogging and blogging as it really lets you get creative and is so much fun!
Are you looking forward to attending the #VuelioBlogAwards? OMG, I am so excited! I am so privileged to be part of a huge network of professionals who are self-made and are such an inspiration! Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of this great event!
