News & current affairs
- The Bournemouth Echo has launched the Christchurch Times having revived the title after more than 40 years. The paper has its own dedicated reporting team and will feature local news and issues, nostalgia and sport
- The Leicester Mercury has moved to a new address and is now based at 16 New Walk, Leicester. The title moves from its St George Street headquarters home for the last 50 years. Also at the title, Sam Dimmer has been appointed digital development editor. He joins from the Coventry Telegraph where he was content editor
- David Wyllie has joined Sky News as notifications editor
- May Bulman has been appointed social affairs correspondent at the INDEPENDENT
- Carolyn Bointon has been appointed news editor at the Burton Mail
- Nick Statham has been appointed reporter at the Bolton News
- George Allen is now city centre reporter at the Derby Telegraph
- Qasim Peracha has been appointed video reporter at getwestlondon and the Uxbridge Gazette
- Carole Walker is serving her last day today as political correspondent at the BBC having been with the organisation for 37 years
- Gavin Aitchison has left his role as news editor at The Press
Lifestyle
- Top Santé is now being published by Kelsey Media. The magazine have moved office and are now based at 14 Priestgate, Peterborough PE1 1JA
Fashion & Beauty
- There have been a couple of appointments at HELLO! Online. Harriet Charnock-Bates has been appointed online fashion and beauty editor at the website and at HELO! Fashion Monthly. She will continue her role as contributing travel editor at HELLO! Also, Emmy Griffiths is now staff writer at the website, while Sophie Hamilton is now the weekend writer
- Harrods Magazine has promoted Poppy Rock from deputy fashion editor to fashion editor. Rebecca Branch has also been promoted and is now deputy fashion editor, having previously been assistant fashion editor

- Homestead, an interiors magazine from Archant, was launched last week across North London. The title will be edited by India Bloch
- Amanda Cochrane has been appointed acting editor at Grand Designs replacing former editor Elizabeth Hudson who has now left the title
Arts & Entertainment
- Jack White has been promoted to acting deputy news editor at Now. He was previously a news reporter at the title
- Tanyel Gumushan has been appointed staff writer and music editor at tmrw
- Giverny Masso has been appointed reporter at The Stage
Building & Construction
- Rob Wilson has been appointed architecture editor at the Architects’ Journal replacing Laura Mark who left earlier in the year
Energy & Environment
- Woodcote Media has appointed Daryl Worthington as assistant editor of Fluid Handling, Bioenergy Insight, Biofuels International and Tank Cleaning Magazine. He will be working across Woodcote Media’s portfolio of publications, with a specific focus on Fluid Handling magazine
Business and finance
- Incisive Media has sold its Insight division, which includes the Risk.net and Insurance Post brands, to French business-to-business (B2B) publisher Infopro Digital. The acquisition deal completes on the 13th of April 2017. Incisive Media’s Business division, which includes the Investment Week, Professional Adviser and Professional Pensions brands, is not affected by the deal
- Ed Ballard has been appointed news editor at Private Equity News. Ed was previously a reporter at the Wall Street Journal
- Jo Rhodes has been appointed senior researcher/writer at Which? Travel
- Pensions World has published its final edition after 45 years of publication
Health & Medicine
- Nicholas Carding has started his role as correspondent at the Health Service Journal. He joins from the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News where he was health correspondent
- Paul Kelso has started his new role as health correspondent at Sky News. He was previously sports correspondent at the station
- Stephen Matthews has been promoted to UK senior health reporter at the MailOnline. He was previously UK health reporter at the website
