• Ben Gallop will be taking over from Richard Burgess as head of radio at BBC Sport. He is currently head of BBC Sport Interactive and will combine the two roles
• Ellie Flynn has been appointed digital news reporter at Sun Online
• Jon-Paul Hedge, editor of the Express & Echo has stepped down from his role to become a self-employed media consultant. Patrick Phelvin is to become editor of Express & Echo and Tiverton Gazette. He starts his new role on February 1.
• Chris Price has been appointed head of music at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. He starts in March
• Martin Belam has been appointed social and new formats editor at the Guardian. He was previously at the Daily Mirror
• Neil Oliver has been appointed columnist at The Sunday Times Scotland

• Clementine Brown has been appointed fashion assistant at Sunday Times Style
• Natalie Cornish has been appointed acting digital editor at Fabulous
• The Times and The Sunday Times have launched an international digital app called ‘The Times of London Weekly’
• Krissy Turner has been appointed fashion coordinator at The Daily Telegraph. She was previously a fashion assistant at The Sunday Times Style
• Prue White has been appointed style editor at Times Magazine
• Thea Babington-Stitt has been appointed deputy news and houses editor at Livingetc
• Lauren Smith has been appointed social media manager at cosmopolitan.co.uk. She was was previously social media editor and manager at Bauer Media
• Wesley Doyle has been appointed  editor at Healthy For Men. He has most recently been editor at BikesEtc

• Peter Gothard has been promoted to special projects editor at Computing, The Inquirer and V3. He was previously a senior reporter at Computing. Also Danny Palmer, who was previously a staff writer at Computing, has now left the title.
