- The Huffington Post has undergone a rebrand with a new name and website redesign. The news website is now known by its nickname, HuffPost, and its logo is now live across all 17 of its online international editions, including the UK, and their respective social media profiles
- The Gazette (Middlesbrough) has moved offices from its home of 80 years to new premises based at Hudson Quay
- Mark Austin is set to join Sky News as US correspondent based in Washington. Mark was previously at ITN where he presented the News at Ten and the Evening News at 6.30pm
- Hazel Baker has been appointed global head of UGC newsgathering at Reuters. Hazel was previously the digital editor at Sky News

- Robert Shrimsley has been appointed editorial director at the Financial Times in addition to his position as assistant editor. He takes up his new role on 1 May
- Hayley Kirton has been appointed news editor at People Management. Hayley was previously chief reporter at City A.M.
- Julia Faurschou has been appointed investment writer at Investors Chronicle. She was previously a news reporter at Financial Adviser and FTAdviser
- Alice Mason has been appointed futures reporter at Metal Bulletin. Alice was previously a news reporter at Mercator Media
- Mikkel Stern-Peltz has left his role as news editor at unquote”

- Matthew Reisz has been appointed books editor at Times Higher Education replacing Karen Shook who has left the title. Matthew will be continuing writing features and news at the title

- Liz Jones has been appointed editor at Independent Community Pharmacist. Liz has previously worked at a variety of titles, including Chemist & Druggist, Enterprise, Negotiator, Cosmetics International, Soap, Perfumery & Cosmetics and Ethical Performance

- Mike Gibson has been appointed deputy editor at Foodism. He was previously associate editor at the title
- Daniel Woolfson has been appointed senior drinks reporter at The Grocer. He was previously a food and drink writer at the Publican’s Morning Advertiser

- Tory Frost has been appointed editor at DARE taking over from Charmain Harris
- Olivia Singer has been promoted to fashion and beauty features director at AnOther Magazine. She was previously the fashion and beauty features editor
- Hannah Banks-Walker has been appointed deputy fashion and beauty editor at The Pool. Hannah was previously the deputy fashion news editor at LOOK

- Miles Dunbar has been appointed associate publisher at Esquire. Miles joins from Guardian News & Media where he was head of fashion client sales
- George Upton has been promoted to deputy editor at Avaunt Magazine. He was previously senior editor at the title
- Stephanie Soh has been promoted to commissioning editor at askmen. She was previously a staff writer at the website

- MCV has recently relaunched with a new design and resized magazine. The title published by NewBay Media is now published every two weeks
- Abby Rose has been appointed UK showbusiness reporter at MailOnline
- Charlotte Oliver has been appointed news and features writer at heat magazine
- Natasha Sporn has been appointed TV reporter at OK! Online
- Craig Jones has been appointed What’s On editor at the Hull Daily Mail. He was previously an entertainment reporter at the Bristol Post

- Melissa Lawford has been appointed editorial assistant at High Life replacing Issy D’Arcy Clark
