- Tom Clark has been appointed editor at Prospect. Clark will join the magazine from the Guardian in August
- Julia Rampen has been appointed editor at New Statesman’s The Staggers. She was previously deputy editor of Mirror Money
- Lisa O’Brien has been appointed content manager at the Express & Star

- Swipe, a new free magazine featuring the best of the internet is to launch today
- Magpie is to launch a print edition in September 2016
- Daniel Fahey has been appointed editor at World Travel Guide. He was previously commissioning editor at the website
- Amy Brookbanks is leaving her role as showbiz content editor at Now to join The Sun as digital showbiz editor. She commences her new role next week.
- Alice Olins has been appointed fashion features director at large at Red
- Laura Sutcliffe has been promoted to senior fashion writer at Bella, while Rhiannon Derbyshire has joined the team as beauty writer
- Daisy Meager has been appointed staff writer at Vice’s Munchies UK
- Anna-Marie Solowij and Millie Kendal have joined Marie Claire as digital beauty columnists
- Will Manning is to take over as presenter of the drivetime show on Capital FM London from Monday June 20th. Current presenter Greg Burns is moving to Nova FM in Sydney
- Giuliano Casadei, one half of Foxy & Giuliano has left Free Radio Birmingham. Casadei had co-presented the station’s breakfast show since 2010 and has been replaced by Gemma Hill

- Wholesaler & Electrical Distributor, a new magazine for the electrical wholesaling industry has launched. Rodney Jack is editor of the title
- Noreena Hertz has been appointed economics editor at ITV News. She starts her role at the end of the month
- Liam Coleman has been appointed features writer at the Publican’s Morning Advertiser
- Rosanna Spence has left her role as deputy editor at Casual Dining magazine
Health, science and technology
- Madhumita Murgia has been appointed European technology correspondent at the Financial Times. Nic Fildes and David Bond have also been appointed as telecoms correspondent and media correspondent respectively. Louise Lucas has been appointed Asia tech correspondent, based in Hong Kong and will start her role in October
- Ben Woods has left his role as European editor at The Next Web
