News & Current Affairs
- The Sun is bringing in Guido Fawkes’ Harry Cole as Westminster correspondent and promoting Sun political correspondent Craig Woodhouse to chief political correspondent. Craig Woodhouse is replacing Kevin Schofield, who is leaving to become editor of PoliticsHome after five years at the paper
- ITV News has announced changes to its presenter line-up. Tom Bradby will be joining the team as anchor of News at Ten after the programme was co-presented for eight years by Mark Austin and Julie Etchingham. Julie will also have an expanded role on ITV’s current affairs output. Mark, will co-anchor ITV News at 6.30. Other changes to the line-up can be found here.
- Andrew Spencer, deputy news editor at Leader Times Newspaper, who has been writing the Pendle news for more than 40 years, has retired
- Local World in collaboration with the GooglePlay store launches 10 regional newspaper evening edition apps
- Luke Powell has been appointed as reporter at the Eastern Daily Press
- Ruth Mansfield has been appointed assistant content editor at Wales Online for the titles and websites of South Wales Echo, Western Mail and Sunday/Wales Online. She was previously deputy news editor at South Wales Argus
Fashion, Lifestyle & Entertainment
- Gregor MacGregor has been appointed deputy digital editor at FourFourTwo
- Gemma Talbot has been appointed assistant editor at Professional Hairdresser
- Charlie Bond has been appointed deputy editor for So Magazine’s titles including So Sevenoaks, So Tunbridge Wells and So Wealden. Charlie replaces Jane Connolly who has now left the group
- Zoe Aird has been appointed acting style editor at HELLO! Fashion Monthly covering the role for Eleonore Crompton who is on maternity leave
- Louise Saunders has been appointed UK showbusiness editor for the MailOnline while Helen Turnbull has been appointed UK showbusiness reporter at the title
- Immediate Media has changed its publishing structure for its sport portfolio. Stuart Forrest, digital publisher for www.radiotimes.com is also taking on CyclingNews, while publishing director Dave Clutterbuck will focus on BikeRadar. MD of sport Steven Seaton is taking responsibility for the print brands in the portfolio

- Ashley Wassall, previously online editor at FTAdviser.com has joined The Week’s website as business editor
- Jon Yeomans will be joining the Daily Telegraph website as the Business News Editor. He starts his role on July 1
- Ashley Armstrong has been appointed retail correspondent for the Daily Telegraph and starts her new role as of July 17 2015. She is currently the M&A reporter at the publication
- Graham Ruddick will be the new senior business reporter for The Guardian as of July 27 2015. He is currently the deputy business editor of (retail & technology) at the Daily Telegraph
- Aaron McDonald has been appointed as multimedia reporter at Meat Trades Journal
- Peter Apps has been promoted to deputy news editor at Inside Housing. He was previously business reporter at the title
- Editor Matt Cutler has left his post at the Sport Business International. He has been replaced by Owen Evans who was previously deputy editor at the publication
- Noelle McElhatton has been appointed editor of Antiques Trade Gazette, replacing Ivan Macquisten who has left the magazine to establish a media consultancy
Health, Science & Technology
Claire Bowie has been appointed editorial director at pharmaphorum media. Claire joins from PharmaTimes Media Ltd where she started as editor in 2000 before becoming managing editor and, most recently, managing director.
