- George Osborne has been announced as the new editor at the London Evening Standard. He takes up his position in early May and succeeds Sarah Sands
- There have been a couple of changes at The Times. Greg Hurst is now the social affairs editor at the title having previously been education editor. Rosemary Bennett is now the education editor having previously been the social affairs correspondent
- Olivia Rudgard has been appointed social and religious affairs correspondent at the Daily Telegraph. She was previously a personal finance reporter at the title
- Kris Gilmartin has been appointed homepage editor at the Scottish Sun. He was previously late news editor at STV
- Harry Kemble has been appointed real life features writer at the Press Association. He was previously an online news reporter at the Daily Star
- Gareth Davies, has announced via Twitter, that he has now joined the BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM. Gareth is a former chief reporter at the Croydon Advertiser

- Martha Kelner is to join the Guardian as chief sports writer. She is currently a sports writer and athletics correspondent at the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday
- Jack Vittles has been appointed Bristol Rovers reporter at the Bristol Post. He was previously a digital sports reporter at Wales Online

- Joshua Haigh has been appointed web editor at Attitude. Joshua was previously a showbiz reporter at Mirror Online
- Melissa Mabbitt has been appointed gardening editor at Modern Gardens. She was previously a staff writer at Garden Answers

- Kirsty Walden has been appointed senior fashion assistant at FATED & FABLED
- Ellie Attwell has been appointed fashion assistant across Prima and Good Housekeeping magazines

- Daniel Cain has been appointed senior showbiz reporter at the Sun Online. He was previously a showbiz reporter at the Mail Online
- Claire Rutter has been appointed entertainment editor at Metro.co.uk
- Stephen Ashby has been appointed editor at the Official Xbox Magazine replacing former editor Matt Sakuraoka-Gilman. Daniella Lucas has also recently been appointed deputy editor at the title
- Lily Niu has been appointed commissioning editor at the culture trip
- Anna McNay has been appointed assistant editor at Art Quarterly

- Julie Delahaye has been appointed online travel writer at Mirror Online. She was previously the online lifestyle editor at HELLO!

- Gretchen Friemann has joined the Irish Independent as senior business correspondent. She was previously mergers and acquisitions editor at The Australian
- James Quirk has been appointed group managing editor for Labels & Labeling. He replaces Andy Thomas, who moves to the role of Tarsus Labels and Packaging Group strategic director
- There have been a couple of appointments at Financial News. David Ricketts has been appointed asset management correspondent having previously been associate editor at Ignites Europe. While Tabby Kinder is now alternative investments correspondent having joined from The Lawyer where she was news editor
- Rob Preston has been appointed senior reporter at Charity Finance. He was previously a senior reporter at MRW
- Charlie Faulkner has been promoted to news editor at RN (Retail Newsagent). She was previously a reporter at the title
- Steven Lambert has been appointed digital editor at H&V News
- Michael King has been appointed content writer at B2B Marketing
