• Newsquest has launched a new free weekly newspaper the Warrington Post. The first edition was published on 20 June and is edited by Hayley Smith
• Neil Leslie has been appointed head of content at the Irish Daily Star. Neil was previously the managing editor at the Sunday World
• Holly Baxter is now acting comment editor at the INDEPENDENT covering Hannah Fearn’s maternity leave
• Peter Swindon has been appointed senior reporter at the Sunday Herald
• Andy Phillips has been appointed deputy print editor across the Western Morning News and Herald (Plymouth). He was previously sports editor at the titles
• Andrew Martin has been appointed reporter at the Diss Express
• Maisie Jeynes has been appointed reporter across the Stratford Observer and Leamington Observer titles
• Megan Baynes has been appointed trainee reporter at the Isle of Wight County Press. Megan was formerly editor in chief of the University of East Anglia’s student publication Concrete
• Stephen Stray has stepped down from his role as group editor at Johnston Press. Stephen was responsible for the titles Boston Standard, Lincolnshire Free Press, Sleaford Standard, Skegness Standard, Spilsby Standard, Louth Leader, Mablethorpe Leader, Market Rasen Mail, Spalding Guardian and Horncastle News

• Dave Robinson has stepped down as editor at PSNEurope. He will be succeeded by Daniel Gumble, who currently serves as news editor at Music Week. Daniel will take up his position on 26 June
• Jack Parsons has been appointed editor at All About History. He was previously the editor at Gadget
• Chloe Morgan has been appointed deputy features editor at Reveal. She joins from That’s Life where she was senior features writer
• Charlotte Maxwell has been appointed editor at A Younger Theatre

Media & Communications

• Kaltrina Bylykbashi has been appointed deputy editor at TBI Television Business International. Kaltrina was previously a news manager at Gorkana
• The Media Briefing website has closed following the sale of their media events, Digital Media Strategies and The British Media Awards, to Haymarket. Briefing Media will now continue its focus on the world of agribusiness

Lifestyle

• Isaac Williams has been promoted to editor at Men’s Running. He was previously assistant editor at the title
• There have been a couple of appointments at ShortList Media. Tristan Cross has been appointed features editor at ShortList.com. He was previously a staff writer on the print title. Also Gary Ogden is now staff writer at the website. Gary was previously the entertainment editor at COACH

Fashion

• Kat Spybey has been appointed head of digital engagement at Drapers. She was previously associate editor at the title
• Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah has been appointed fashion editor at Gay Times

• Bill Boyle has been appointed senior editor at IBS Journal. Bill was previously the managing editor at Capacity and Global Telecoms Business
• Swetha Gopinath has been appointed M&A reporter at DEALREPORTER
• Genevieve Lewis has been appointed news reporter across Print Monthly and SignLink
• Erica Gibbons has been appointed team secretary across the Daily Mail’s Money Mail and City & Finance desks. She is also the PA to city editor, Alex Brummer
