- Kevin Booth is leaving his role as editor at the Leicester Mercury. He will be replaced in the short-term by Rob Irvine currently editor in chief at the Manchester Evening News
- The Argus has secured new premises and is set to move back to Brighton city centre from its current base in Hollingbury. The newspaper is to move into first floor offices of Dolphin House in Manchester Street with all editorial, advertising and newspaper sales staff making the move in June
- Chris Richards has been appointed digital night editor at The Sun
- Gareth Morgan has been promoted to news editor at the Irish Independent. He was previously deputy news editor at the title
- Ellie House has been appointed digital journalist at dailyrecord.co.uk. She was previously a senior reporter at the Inverness Courier
- Thomas Bristow has been appointed sports video writer at Mirror Online
- Alec Russell has started his role as FT Weekend editor at the Financial Times
- Katrina Bunker has started her new role as editor at BBC Radio Sheffield. Bunker moves from BBC Radio Leeds
- Dan Vevers has been appointed online election reporter at STV and will cover the 2016 Scottish Parliament election
- Graham Smith retires today after 18 years as editor at the East Kent Mercury and Dover Mercury
- West Wolds Radio has announced it will continue broadcasting after a rescue package was put together. The station had been due to close for financial reasons after five months on air

- Javier Pes has been appointed editor at The Art Newspaper. He will succeed Jane Morris who is stepping down as editor at the beginning of June but who will remain as editor at large. Pes is currently the deputy editor at the title
- Katie McCabe has been promoted to editor at Artists & Illustrators Magazine from her previous role of deputy editor. Also Gemma Taylor has been appointed deputy editor at the title. She was previously the editor at Elite Living Africa
- Elle Blakeman has been appointed acting commissioning editor at High Life
- Ianthe Butt has been appointed acting features editor at Condé Nast Traveller covering Fiona Kerr’s maternity leave. She joins from High Life where she was commissioning editor
- Chloe Bloch has been appointed shopping editor at Grazia
- Laura Hinton has been appointed acting features editor at Reveal. She was previously a features writer at Bella
- Sarah Jossel has been appointed beauty editor at Sunday Times Style. She was previously deputy beauty editor at the title
- Rosie Fletcher has been appointed movies editor at Digital Spy
- Molly Haylor has been appointed acting senior fashion assistant at Glamour. She replaces Charlotte Lewis who was recently promoted to acting shopping editor
- Jenny Proudfoot has been appointed features assistant at Marie Claire

- Sonia Rach has been appointed reporter at Reward
