- Bob Shennan has been appointed director of BBC Radio. Currently controller of Radio 2, Asian Network and 6 Music, Shennan will start his new role on 8th November
- Archant have launched a new paper, the Wanstead & Woodford Recorder. The title features news from the Wanstead and Woodfood areas and goes out every Thursday
- The Eastern Daily Press has launched a new rugby magazine, Up & Under, covering rugby news from approximately 20 local rugby clubs from across Norfolk
- Will Heaven has been appointed managing editor at The Spectator. He has previously been the deputy comment editor at the Telegraph Media Group
- Zoe Beaty has been appointed deputy news and content editor at The Pool. She was previously deputy features editor at Stylist
- Sam Blewett has been appointed reporter at the Press Association
- Paul Wheelock has been appointed sports journalist at the Chester Chronicle. He joins from the Lancashire Telegraph where he was the Blackburn Rovers reporter
- Ruth Ovens has been appointed senior reporter at the Somerset Guardian. She was previously a senior reporter at the Wells Journal
- Sam Jones has been appointed reporter at the Whitby Gazette
- Eddie Bisknell has been appointed reporter at the Stroud News & Journal

- TimeInc UK has announced that InStyle UK is to relaunch as a digital first brand. It is proposed that the December issue will be the final UK print edition of InStyle. Led by editor Charlotte Moore, the InStyle UK team will work with InStyle’s US team to leverage the reach and access of this international brand to accelerate growth in the UK. The collaboration will enable InStyle to deliver a 24-hour content offering, keeping the audience up-to-date with daily stories and videos
- Clemmie Moodie has been appointed associate showbiz editor at the Daily Mail. She was previously the associate features editor and 3am editor at the Daily Mirror
- Alex Holder has been appointed acting content director at Elle covering Hannah Swerling’s maternity leave. Also at the title Sophie van der Welle has been appointed acting associate fashion editor covering Harriet Stewart’s maternity leave
- Chemmie Squier has been appointed branded content manager at REFINERY29. She was previously acting fashion and beauty editor at The Debrief
- Hannah Dunn has been appointed acting digital editor at Red Online following Fong Chau’s departure
- Sara Benwell has been appointed consumer editor at Good Housekeeping. She was previously digital editor at Pensions Insight and Engaged Investor
- Kate Freud has been appointed editor in chief at Baby London, Baby Hampshire, Baby Surrey and Little London covering Kate Finney’s maternity leave
- Holly Treacy has been appointed acting editor at Veggie magazine covering Fae Gilfillan’s maternity leave. Additionally Sophie Rae has been appointed acting deputy editor at the title
- Rosie Bradley and Alysha Jane Stirling have been named as editor and deputy editor respectively at the FASHION NORTH website
- Ciara Sheppard has been appointed writer at Glamour
- Leanne Wilcox has been appointed beauty writer across DARE magazine and Superdrug Loves. She was previously editor at EAUX magazine
- Annie Davies has been appointed beauty assistant at Stylist. She was previously editorial assistant at PRO Hair & Beauty magazine

- Richard Parnham has been appointed editor at PSMG Magazine. He replaces Matt Baldwin who has stepped down after 12 years in the role

- Jessica Dye has been appointed fastFT reporter at the Financial Times
- Robert Smith has been appointed senior reporter at PRWeek. He was previously news editor at Process Engineering
- Anna Winston has left her role as editor at dezeen

- Jem Alexander has been appointed editor at Develop. He replaces James Batchelor who left the title last week
- Alex Calvin has been promoted to deputy editor at MCV from his previous role as senior staff writer
