• There have been a couple of changes at the Daily Mail. Jason Groves, formerly deputy political editor, has been promoted to political editor. While John Stevens now becomes deputy political editor, moving from his previous role as Whitehall editor
• Gordon Rayner has been appointed political editor at the Daily Telegraph. He was previously chief reporter at the title
• Peter Kitchen has taken over as the editor at the Market Drayton Advertiser and the Newport Advertiser. He was previously the night news editor at the Shropshire Star
• Jennifer Newton has been appointed online features writer at Sun Online. She was previously a reporter at the MailOnline
• Lauren Clarke has been appointed news reporter at the Daily Star. She was previously news editor at the Coventry Observer and Solihull Observer
• Clive Youlton has been appointed digital sports reporter at Kent Live
• Sam Petherick has changed his role and is now education and politics reporter at the Bath Chronicle. He was previously a senior reporter at the title
• Sebastian Ellis has been appointed reporter at the Middlewich Guardian
• Stephanie Finnegan has been appointed trainee reporter at the Huddersfield Daily Examiner
• The websites of the Herts and Essex Observer and Harlow Star have now closed. They are now part of the Hertfordshire Mercury and Essex Live websites respectively

• Holly Rains has been appointed acting digital editor at MarieClaire.co.uk. She was previously deputy digital editor at the website
• Amanda Pauley has been promoted to deputy editor at Professional Beauty. She was previously assistant editor at the title
• Sophie Austen-Smith has been appointed cookery editor at Good Housekeeping. She was previously the deputy food editor across the Time Inc. UK Food Group
• JJ Nattrass has been appointed senior celebrity writer at Mirror Online. He was previously UK online showbusiness reporter at the MailOnline
• There have been a couple of changes at luxe magazine. Jessica Laing is now the lifestyle editor, while Elysia Agnew is now the online editor
• Jodie Dunworth has been appointed editorial assistant at Red magazine. She was previously the fashion and beauty assistant at OK!
• Hearst Magazines UK has relaunched jamie magazine. The refreshed magazine will feature exclusive Jamie Oliver recipes, new contributors and tips and tricks for readers

• Molly Dyson has been promoted to editor at PA Life. She was previously online editor at the title
• Dominic Browne has been appointed editor at Highways. He replaces former editor Alec Peachey
• Hannah Uttley has been appointed deputy finance editor at Yahoo! Finance UK. Hannah was previously a senior reporter and features editor at Mortgage Solutions
• Lauren Fedor has been appointed early UK news editor at the Financial Times. She was previously the early companies reporter at the title
• Alex Sebastian has been appointed news editor at This is Money and the MailOnline Money. He was previously news editor at Portfolio Adviser
• Sophie Sassard has changed her role at Reuters and is now sector specialist, telecom, media and technology in EMEA. She was previously M&A chief correspondent at the news service
