• Wireless Group chief executive John McCann is to retire in May following the sale of UTV’s television business to ITV
• Stephen Mawhinney, Radio 5 Live’s head of news, has been appointed as BBC Sport’s first head of sports journalism
• Clodagh Higginson has been appointed as political correspondent at Good Morning Britain. She was previously Whitehall editor at The Sun for five years
• Hannah Ferrett has been appointed senior online features writer at The Sun. Hannah started her role at The Sun on Monday 14th March
• David Clayton has left his role as editor of BBC Radio Norfolk after 18 years in the job

• Jess Chapman has been appointed acting editor at Coach Monthly. Also Tara Lepore is now assistant editor at the title
• Declan Cashin has been appointed associate editor at JOE.co.uk. He was previously the homepage editor at BuzzFeed UK
• Ellie Henman has been appointed deputy news editor at Now magazine. She was previously a news writer at heat
• Juliet Benning has been appointed features editor at Homes & Gardens. She was previously editor at Superyacht Business
• Ben Isaacs has been appointed features editor at COACH. He was previously the sports editor at ShortList
• Hollie Brotherton has been appointed fashion features and entertainment assistant at Marie Claire
• Gemma Bradish has been promoted to news and features writer at Scratch magazine. She was previously editorial assistant at the title

• David J. Lynch has been appointed Washington correspondent at the Financial Times
• Ben Briggs has been appointed editor at Farmers Guardian. Previous editor Emma Penny is now group head of content overseeing Farmers Guardian, Arable Farming, Dairy Farmer and Agrimoney.com. Deputy editor Vickie Robinson is also promoted to Briefing Media Agriculture’s head of content solutions
• There have been a couple of changes at Investors Chronicle. Leonora Walters has been promoted to personal finance editor having previously been deputy personal finance editor, Kate Beioley has been promoted to deputy personal finance editor and Emma Agyemang has recently joined the publication as personal finance writer
• Joanne Birtwistle has been appointed editor at TheBusinessDesk.com’s North West edition
• Simon Gwynn has been appointed reporter at Marketing magazine. He was previously FMCG reporter at The Grocer
• Katie Deighton has been appointed as video reporter and researcher at The Drum. She was previously a senior reporter at Event

• Anjali Shukla has been appointed editor at Pharmafocus and Pharmafile. Also Sean Murray has joined as deputy editor across both titles
• Michael Passingham has been appointed computing editor at Trusted Reviews. He was previously a senior staff writer at Computer Shopper and expertreviews
