News & current affairs
- Gordon Sutter has been named as the new editor at the Southern Daily Echo. The role will also include being editor of the Echo’s sister titles, the Hampshire Chronicle and Romsey Advertiser and their related websites as well as a portfolio of free newspapers magazines and specials. He replaces former editor Ian Murray who stepped down two weeks ago
- South Hams Newspapers has appointed a new editor. Stuart Nuttall, who was the group’s deputy editor, will oversee the editorial content and production of the Kingsbridge & Salcombe Gazette, Dartmouth Chronicle, Ivybridge & South Brent Gazette, Totnes News and the Plympton, Plymstock & Ivybridge News, plus three titles on behalf of the Totnes Times series, which includes the South Devon Times and Brixham News. He replaces Steve Harvey who retired at the beginning of March
- Craig Gibbons has been appointed editor at the Malvern Observer
- Ben McGrail is to join ITV News West Country to take up a new role covering Somerset stories for ITV. Ben will be based in the ITV’s office in Wellington. Ben is currently a presenter at BBC Somerset
- Sean Morrison has been appointed online news reporter at the at the London Evening Standard. He was previously a reporter at the Croydon Guardian
- Miles O’Leary has been appointed deputy head of content at the Herald (Plymouth). He was previously the political reporter at the News (Portsmouth)
- Jenny Desborough has been appointed Barnet reporter at the Barnet & Potters Bar Times, Hendon & Finchley Times and Edgware & Mill Hill Times
- Barry Rabbetts has left his role as executive editor at the Daily Mirror after 13 years
Lifestyle
- Chloe Best has been promoted to online lifestyle editor at HELLO! She was previously online writer at the website
- Grace Cain has been appointed editorial assistant at Smallish and the Exclusive magazine portfolio
- Josie Copson has been appointed acting editorial assistant at OK! She was previously a features intern at Cosmopolitan
Fashion & Beauty
- Suzanne Sykes has been appointed creative director at Sunday Times Style. She is currently creative director at Elle and takes up her new role later in the year
- There have been a couple of changes at Miss Vogue and Vogue. Naomi Pike has been promoted from digital editorial assistant to Miss Vogue editor and social media manager. She will be responsible for the editorial content across Miss Vogue, as well as coordinating the social media strategy and partnerships across the British Vogue social channels. Additionally, Naomi will continue to edit This Week In Pictures. Also Katie Berrington has been promoted from junior digital editor to arts and lifestyle editor. She will be responsible for all entertainment, arts, travel, interiors, food and music content on the site, as well as continuing to oversee the People & Parties section
- Siomha Connolly has been appointed assistant editor at The Gloss
- Olivia de Courcy has been promoted to junior content editor at BRIDES. She was previously online content assistant at the title
- Anna Johnstone has been appointed PA to the editor at Glamour
Arts & Entertainment
- Nicola Agius has been appointed entertainment editor at Digital Spy. She was previously a senior TV reporter at the Mirror Online
- Kirsty Hatcher has changed her role at OK! and is now acting entertainment editor at the title
- Maisie Skidmore has been promoted to digital editor at AnOther. She was previously the online deputy editor at the site

- Holly Motion has been appointed news and online editor at Imbibe. She was previously a senior reporter at Drinks International
- Georgina Townshend has been appointed senior reporter at The Morning Advertiser. She was previously a senior reporter at the Surrey Advertiser and getSurrey.co.uk

- Scottish Business Insider has launched a new website insider.co.uk to accompany the magazine. The site will cover all the sectors that make up the Scottish base, from financial services to food and drink, from technology to tourism and from mergers to markets
- Christopher Jackson has been appointed head of editorial research at Spear’s
Technology
- Matthew Bolton has been appointed editor at T3. He replaces former editor Rob Carney who left earlier in March
- Rob Horgan has been appointed deputy editor at PCR

- Dave Stubbings has started in his role as Head of Social Media at DRIVETRIBE. He was previously social media editor at the Mirror
Law
- Natasha Bernal has been appointed news editor at The Lawyer replacing Tabby Kinder who has now left the title

- Tanya Ashreena has been appointed chief finance reporter at Property Week
