- The Guardian Media Group have announced that the Guardian and Observer will move to tabloid formats in early 2018 as part of a three-year transformation programme announced last year. GMG has signed a contract with Trinity Mirror to take on the responsibility of printing both the Guardian and The Observer titles from early 2018. GMG’s printing sites in Trafford and Stratford will be closed
- The Louth Leader has moved offices and is now based at the Fairfield Enterprise Centre. The paper was previously based in Eastgate in Louth town centre
- Ben Kelly has been appointed deputy social media editor at the INDEPENDENT. He was previously social media manager at Sun Online
- David Rivers has been appointed news reporter at the Daily Star Online. David was previously working at the Ealing Gazette and getwestlondon
- Adam Cornell has been appointed news editor across the Braintree & Witham Times, Halstead Gazette and the Maldon Standard. He starts his new role on 15 June
- Jonny Drury has been appointed reporter at the Shropshire Star. He was previously chief reporter at the Powys County Times

- Rachel Wearmouth has been appointed politics reporter at HUFFPOST UK. She was previously a politics and investigations reporter at the Sunday Post

- Joe Kasper has been appointed TV reporter at The Sun working on the Bizarre desk. He was previously a news reporter at the Daily Star
- Roxanne Hughes has been appointed TV reporter at the EXPRESS

- Anthony Thornton has been appointed digital director at Wallpaper*. He joins from the BFI where he was head of digital content
- Anna Matheson has been appointed senior features writer at Closer

- Venetia Scott has been announced as the new fashion director at Vogue. She starts her new role on July 10 and replaces Lucinda Chambers who leaves later this month. Additionally, Alice Newbold has been appointed daily editor at Vogue.co.uk. She was previously style editor at Brave New World
- Jill Geoghegan has been promoted to head of content news and features at Drapers. She was previously deputy news editor at the title
