- Trinity Mirror has revealed new designs for the Coventry Telegraph and Gazette (Middlesbrough). Both titles will carry new and revamped daily pullouts
- Craig Woodhouse currently chief political correspondent at The Sun is to leave the title on 2nd September. He is set to become a special adviser at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport
- Kiara Keane has joined the INDEPENDENT as social media assistant. She was previously online features reporter at OK!
- Siraj Datoo has left his role as UK political reporter at BuzzFeed UK. He will be joining Bloomberg News next week as a digital journalist
- Aaron Sharp has left his role as deputy news editor at the Sunday Mirror
- Chris Young has left his role as sports reporter at the Sunderland Echo
- Rebecca Day has left her role as reporter at the Royston Crow
Fashion, lifestyle and entertainment
- Autocar has unveiled a new look. Changes include an expanded used car buying section, a reorganised new car prices section as well as bringing back the in-depth focus on one particular car model
- Lara Dunn has been appointed as editor at FRANCE Magazine. She is a former editor at Adventure Travel and Women’s Cycling and joins the title on August 30th
- Andrea Leebody has been appointed deputy editor at Weight Watchers Magazine. She replaces former deputy editor Charlotte Bradshaw who has left the title
- Catherine Hudson is to become style editor at gurgle and starts her role new role on September 5th. She leaves her content editor role at Junior Magazine today
- James Manning has been promoted to city life editor at Time Out London. He starts his new role on August 15th
- Laura Grabiner has been appointed junior fashion news and features writer at Grazia. She was previously fashion assistant at the publication
- There have been a couple of changes at Marie Claire. Rosie Smythe has been appointed acting senior fashion assistant and Sophia Stewart has now joined the team as fashion assistant
- There have been a couple of changes at women’s fitness and WE HEART LIVING. Erica Bush has been promoted to junior writer and Sabrina Barr has joined the team as editorial assistant and junior writer
Business and finance
- Alistair Driver has been appointed editor at Pig World. He was previously political editor at Farmers Guardian
- Helen Robertson has been promoted to associate editor at Petroleum Economist. She was previously markets editor at the title
- Independent News & Media have appointed Colm Kelpie senior business correspondent specialising in Brexit. He will continue in his role as business and economics correspondent, taking up the additional responsibility of coordinating INM’s Brexit coverage
- CJ Hubbard has been appointed van editor at PARKERS
- Saad Ahmed has been appointed reporter across Motor Finance and Leasing Life
- Alex Berry has been appointed reporter at LegalWeek
- Amy Sowerby has been appointed reporter at Business Matters
- Vicky Beckett has left her role as senior reporter at Reactions
