• Ciara Phelan has been appointed digital journalist at the Irish Examiner. She was previously news editor at the Limerick Post
• Emma Jane Hade has announced via Twitter that she is set to join the Irish Daily Mail later this month as reporter

• Ben Beaumont-Thomas has been appointed music editor at the Guardian. Ben was previously assistant commissioning editor for Culture at the title
• Bernadette McNulty has been appointed deputy arts editor at the i Paper. She was previously commissioning editor on the Arts Desk at the Daily Telegraph
• Lyn Gardner has been appointed associate editor at THE STAGE. Lyn will still be writing reviews and features for the Guardian. Also at the title, Nick Clark is set to join as features editor. Nick was previously arts correspondent at The Independent
• Matthew Whitehouse has been promoted to arts and culture editor at i-D Magazine. He was previously editorial assistant at the title
• JJ Anisiobi has been promoted to digital news and TV editor at OK! He was previously news editor at the title
• Dominique Sisley, currently news editor at Dazed, is to go freelance from June 16
• Martha Connolly has left her role as editor at VIP Magazine

• Ellen Scott has been appointed lifestyle editor at METRO.co.uk. She was previously senior lifestyle reporter at the title
• Becky French has been appointed deputy editor at Girl Talk
• Stephanie Soh has been promoted to associate editor at AskMen. From 19 June she will be going part-time freelance and as such she is interested in culture, lifestyle, social justice, and ethical travel and consumerism
• Olivia Blair has been appointed digital features writer at Hearst Digital. She will be writing across several brands including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Esquire and Digital Spy

Fashion

• Clara Strunck has been appointed editorial assistant at Sunday Times Style. She was previously the associate content editor at Mr & Mrs Smith

Travel

• Stephen Graves has been appointed digital editor at n by Norwegian. Stephen joins from the Haymarket Media Group

• Metropolis International have announced that they have completed the purchase from Ascential plc of 11 leading Business-to-Business brands. The 11 brands include Drapers, Nursing Times, Local Government Chronicle, Construction News, New Civil Engineer, Ground Engineering, H&V News/RAC, Retail Jeweller, Materials Recycling World, Architects’ Journal, and The Architectural Review
• Ciaran Hancock has been promoted to business editor at the Irish Times. He was previously finance correspondent at the title
• Kristian Brunt-Seymour has been appointed deputy editor at HR Magazine. Kristian was a former senior correspondent at Professional Pensions
• Rachel Cunliffe has been appointed comment and features editor at City A.M. She was previously the deputy editor at REACTION
• Hamza Ali has been appointed investment data journalist at Citywire. He was previously a staff writer at Environmental Finance

• Martin Saarinen has been promoted to consumer editor at Auto Express. He was previously consumer reporter at the title. Also, Sean Carson is now chief reviewer at the title, having previously been senior road tester
• Rachael Hogg has been promoted to digital content editor at AutoTrader. She was previously the web producer at the website

• Alex Taylor has been appointed reporter at The Lawyer
