• Johnston Press has announced that it is to sell its Isle of Man titles to Tindle Newspapers for £4.25m. The papers include the Isle of Man Examiner, Isle of Man Courier, Manx Independent and website IOMToday.co.im
• Tom Bristow has been appointed Archant’s investigations editor and starts his role on 18th July. His responsibilities include leading the Investigations Unit and managing the team, producing content for use in print and online across Archant and sourcing and writing investigative content for the Norfolk titles and websites
• Ben Curtis has been appointed deputy online sports editor at The Telegraph. He joins from The Mirror where he was deputy digital sports editor
• Michael Safi has been appointed South Asia correspondent at The Guardian and starts his role mid-August
• Marie Le Conte has been appointed media and politics reporter at BuzzFeed UK

Fashion, lifestyle and entertainment

• Chris Evans has stepped down as a presenter at Top Gear
• Katie Thomas has been appointed beauty editor at InStyle. She was previously health and beauty associate at Tatler
• There have been a number of changes at Vogue. Lottie Winter is now acting deputy health and beauty editor covering Lauren Murdoch-Smith’s maternity leave. Also Elizabeth White has been promoted to editorial coordinator from her previous role as editorial assistant. Also joining the title are Hayley Maitland who is now features assistant and Flora Macdonald Johnston who is the now the acting beauty assistant
• Camilla Apcar has been appointed deputy editor at Mayfair Magazine. She joins from Kensington & Chelsea and Notting Hill & Holland Park Magazines
• Katy Parker has been appointed deputy editor at the City Magazine. She was previously deputy editor at the Mayfair Magazine
• Jordan Waller has been appointed deputy editor at ShortList replacing Hamish MacBain. Joe Ellison replaces Jordan as the new online editor at the website
• Chris Swindells has been appointed commissioning editor at World Travel Guide. He was previously the editor at Virtual Festivals
• Chemmie Squier has been appointed acting fashion and beauty editor at The Debrief
• Tom Goodlad has been appointed staff writer at PARKERS. He was previously a web producer at Carbuyer.co.uk
• Lydia Winter has been promoted to staff writer at Foodism. She was previously editorial assistant at the title
• Harriet Elton has been appointed fashion assistant at Sunday Times Style. She replaces former fashion assistant Sophie Bertenshaw
• Megan Danskine has been appointed editorial assistant at Professional Hairdresser
• Damien Smith is to step down as editor at Motor Sport in September
• Jen Crothers has now left her role as deputy entertainment editor at heat to go freelance
• Dan Jolin has left his role as features editor at Empire
• Matt Wilkinson has left his role as new music editor at the NME

• Jason Mills has now started his role as editor in chief at MoneySavingExpert.com. He joins from ITV News where he was head of digital
• Joseph Cotterill has been appointed Southern Africa correspondent at the Financial Times
• Rachel Barr has been appointed features writer at Retail Newsagent. She was previously a reporter at the East Grinstead Courier & Observer
• Katherine Price has been appointed reporter at The Caterer
• Jon Cudby has left his role as editor at Money Management.  Also Kuba Shand-Baptiste has now joined the publication as editorial assistant
• Gavin Cleaver is set to leave The Grocer next month. Currently web editor he is set to join The Lancet also as web editor
• Jamie Delargy has left his role as business editor at UTV

• Ced Yuen has been appointed home technology editor at Trusted Reviews. He was previously the news editor at What Hi-Fi?
