- Sky News is opening a bureau in Dublin to strengthen its presence in Ireland. Darren McCaffrey, currently UK political correspondent at Sky News, will become Dublin correspondent. Darren will start in Dublin in September
- Polly Curtis has been appointed editor in chief at HuffPost UK. She will join later in the year from her current role as director of media at the British Red Cross
- Newsquest have announced two new titles, the Bournemouth Herald and the Poole Herald. These titles will replace current weeklies the Bournemouth Advertiser and Poole Advertiser
- Steve Bloomfield has been appointed deputy editor at Prospect. Steve was previously executive editor at Monocle
- David Lewis has left his role as news editor at the Edinburgh Evening News. He is set to join STV News as digital news editor later in the month
Government & Politics
- Josiah Mortimer has taken over as editor at LEFT FOOT FORWARD replacing former editor Niamh Ni Mhaoileoin. In addition, Oscar Webb is also joining the website as reporter
- Catherine Neilan has returned from maternity leave and is now head of politics and investigations at City A.M. She was previously breaking news and communities editor at the title
- Kieran Andrews has been appointed politics and investigations reporter at the Sunday Post. Kieran was previously political editor at The Courier
Lifestyle
- Will Renwick has been appointed editor at outdoors magic and takes up his new role from next week. Will was previously digital editor at The Great Outdoors and Outdoor Fitness
- Terry Barbrook has been appointed acting deputy editor at John Lewis Edition. Terry was previously acting deputy editor at Women’s Health
Fashion
- Gila Polak has been promoted to executive fashion and beauty manager at HELLO! and HELLO! Fashion Monthly. She was previously senior fashion and beauty executive at the titles. In addition, Laura Weatherburn has been promoted to junior shopping editor at HELLO! Fashion Monthly. Laura was previously junior fashion stylist at the title
Business & Finance
- Robin Kwong has changed his role at the Financial Times and is now head of digital delivery. He was previously special projects editor at the title
- Sophia Imeson has been promoted to associate editor at Pensions Expert. She was previously a senior reporter at the title
- Matthew Gwyther and Andrew Saunders, editor and deputy editor respectively at Management Today, are stepping down from their roles. Their last day will be on July 12
Arts & Entertainment
- Dan Hobson has been appointed as the new editor at Acoustic magazine. He replaces former actor editor Claire Davies
- Roisin Lanigan has been appointed social editor at i-D
- Ayla Angelos has been appointed editorial assistant at It’s Nice That

- Lindsay Blair has been appointed features editor at Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms Magazine. Lindsay was previously homes content editor at Real Homes

- Victoria Woollaston has left her role as digital editor at Wired. She has now been appointed editorial director at Dennis’s tech brands including alphr, expertreviews, CloudPro and IT PRO
- James Temperton has been appointed digital editor at Wired. He was previously a senior editor at the title
Sports
- Tony Barrett has now left his role as chief football writer at JOE.co.uk to take up a new role as head of club and supporter liaison at Liverpool Football Club
