- James Whale has been announced as the new weekday evening host on talkRADIO, replacing Jonny Gould. Whale’s show starts on 7th November
- Tim Singleton has announced he is to leave his role as deputy editor and director of newsgathering at ITV News
- Nigel Pickover is stepping down as editor in chief of the Eastern Daily Press at the end of the year. An announcement on his successor will be made in due course
- Tanya Yilmaz has been appointed senior reporter at the Swindon Advertiser. She was previously a senior reporter at the Wiltshire Times
- Matt Mohan-Hickson has been appointed reporter at the Hertfordshire Mercury
- The Huddersfield Examiner has been given a new look. The new look print edition will now include Neighbourhood News every day targeting specific areas
Fashion, lifestyle and entertainment
- Lorraine Candy has been appointed luxury content director at The Sunday Times and editor in chief of Sunday Times Style. She joins from Elle where she is editor in chief. In the meantime Lotte Jeffs is now acting editor at Elle pending further announcements
- Screen International has appointed Orlando Parfitt as senior editor – online. He joins on 16th November from Yahoo! UK where he has most recently been features editor. Also at the title, head of news Andreas Wiseman has been appointed deputy editor while web assistant and reporter Tom Grater has been named deputy online editor and reporter
- Phil Ward is stepping down as editor at Auto Italia. Chris Rees will be taking over as editor and starts in the New Year
- Emmeline Saunders has been appointed deputy celebrity editor at Mirror Online. She was previously acting deputy editor at heatworld
- Rebecca Pocklington has been appointed senior showbiz reporter at Sun Online. She was previously acting assistant celebrity editor at the Mirror Online
- Emma Pritchard has been appointed features editor at Women’s Health replacing Lucy Farmer
- Toby Keel has been appointed digital editor at Country Life
- Hollie Bond has been promoted to lifestyle editor at You & Your Wedding. She was previously a senior features and travel writer at the title
- Beatrice Updegraff has been appointed fashion writer at Curva magazine
- Sarah Barlow has been promoted to acting fashion stylist at LOOK magazine covering Kate Andrews’ maternity leave. Additionally Sarah-Rose Harrison has been appointed freelance acting senior fashion assistant
- Abby McHale has been appointed fashion assistant at the Daily Express
Business and finance
- Ledetta Asfa-Wossen has been appointed editor at EducationInvestor
- Chris Madden has been appointed business editor at Frontier magazine. He was previously content editor at the Surrey Mirror
- Sarah Cosgrove has been appointed assistant editor at Horticulture Week. She rejoins the title having previously been landscape correspondent at the title. Most recently she was news editor at PrintWeek
- John Hewitt Jones has been appointed senior reporter at Reactions. He was previously a reporter at Mortgage Introducer

- Alice Harrold has been appointed reporter across Nursing in Practice, Management in Practice and The Pharmacist
- Alistair Kleebauer has left his role as news reporter at Nursing Standard to go freelance
