Top 50 UK Blogs 2010
The revised Top 50 is of course a reflection of changes in the UK blogosphere since we published our last ranking in January 2010. However, Cision continues to build its internal competence and would like to highlight the below:
- We’re continuing to build our index, already surpassing 10,000 UK blogs today – all of them active, with a particular focus on the most influential in their niche;
- We’re still tweaking the algorithm we use for measuring this influence: as opposed to six months ago, there’s an increased emphasis on current levels of engagement and less focus on historical link equity.
The latest list still makes intuitive sense. While the major UK sources of tech and celebrity news continue to feature, it’s political blogs that dominate the 50 – tech and celebrity news being more-than-well-served at a global level, but UK politics residing firmly within the UK blogosphere. Similarly, it’s reassuring to see blogs devoted to our national sport sneaking into the 50.
So who’s in and who’s out? Who’s number one? Find out with our Top 50 UK Blogs.
