TAKE 5 with a The Covet Beauty…

The Covet Beauty has just launched! Lets welcome Caterina’s make-up blog with a quick take 5 interview.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

I started blogging because I’ve always read a lot of blogs and at a certain point I wanted to create something by myself where I could share my love and opinions about products I love.

Why beauty, fashion and lifestyle?

I’ve been passionate about make-up and skincare products since I was a child! I remember my fascination while perusing my mother make-up bag and looking at her while she was putting her make-up on. I literally can’t remember a day when she went out without her make-up on, even if she had to take the dog out for a walk!

Who or what would you say inspires you?

I take inspiration from a lot of places! I love looking at Instagram for new looks to try, but I should say that the major source of inspiration comes from make-up artists and glamorous women from the present and the past, women who look perfect and stunning!

What is your pitch to PRs? How would you prefer to be contacted by them?

My blog is really young, but I have just had an opportunity to collaborate with a brand. However, I much prefer trying out products that can be right up my street and that I like, rather than trying out new stuff just for the sake of it. I’d like to be contacted by them by email or twitter via DM.

And finally where would you like to see your blog in one year from now?

Such a difficult question! I’d like my blog to be visible in Italy as I’m Italian and I’d love to see it grow and become a place where beauty aficionados stop by and share their passion for what they love!
