Speedy Spotlight: Cost of Living
Cost of Living is featured in this week’s Media Updates. Run by a team of authors, they talk to Cision about blogs they like, loving guest bloggers and controversial opinions.
Why should people read your blog?
The Cost of Living blog is about the politics, economics and sociology of health and health care and the title of our blog reflects the changing (social, political and economic) costs associated with health, medicine and welfare in the 21st century.
Anyone interested in these issues (almost everyone is!) would find the blog interesting.
What’s the most important issue in your blogosphere?
Our blog represents a unique blend of perspectives and we take a very broad interest in health and medicine. The most important issue for us is to provide posts that are critical and accessible with clear, sometimes even controversial, opinions.
What’s your favourite blog and why?
We draw our inspiration from a wide variety of sources we like: Sociological Images for its short topical posts; No Way To Make a Living for adding depth to everyday working lives; and io9 because it is fun and one of us likes science-fiction.
How often do you aim to post?
As a minimum we post every Friday – sometimes more if circumstances demand it.
How do you feel about guest posts?
We love guest posts and have guidelines to help authors www.cost-ofliving.net/author-guidelines/.
