Government departments
Jesse Norman has been promoted to Minister of State for Transport. He will have the same portfolio, with additions (more info).
Andrew Jones has been appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport (more info).
Nick Hurd has been appointed Minister of State for London. This is in addition to his role as Minister of State for Policing and the Fire Service (more info).
Minister of State for Northern Ireland Shailesh Vara resigned on 15 November. He has been replaced by John Penrose (more info).
Dominic Raab resigned from his position as Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union on 15 November. He has been replaced by Stephen Barclay. Barclay leaves his position as Minister at the Department for Health and Social Care (more info).
Stephen Hammond has been appointed as Minister of State at the Department for Health and Social Care (more info).
Esther McVey resigned from her position of Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on 15 November. She has been replaced by Amber Rudd (more info).
Michael Tomlinson left his role for Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Penny Mordaunt at the Department for International Development to take up the role of PPS to Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union Dominic Raab before Raab’s resignation (more info).
PPS to the Department for Education Anne-Marie Trevelyan resigned on 15 November (more info).
PPS to the Department for Exiting the European Union Suella Braverman resigned on 15 November (more info).
PPS to the Ministry of Justice Ranil Jayawardena resigned on 15 November (more info).
Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party for Communities and Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy to Pakistan Rehman Chishti resigned on 15 November (more info).
Nikki da Costa, director of Legislative affairs at Downing Street resigned on 15 November (more info).
Kwasi Kwarteng has been appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union (more info).
Duncan Sutherland has been appointed to the board of Homes England (more info).
House of Commons
Jess Phillips has been made a member of the Committee on Standards (more info).
Kevin Barron has been discharged from the Committee of Privileges. He has been replaced by Jess Phillips (more info).
Ruth Cadbury has been discharged from the Justice Committee. She has been replaced by Janet Daby (more info).
European Parliament
This week, the European Parliament is holding committee and group meetings in Brussels.
