UK Government
Steven Boyd has been appointed as the first permanent Chief Executive of the Government Property Agency. Mr Boyd will take up his appointment on 10th June (more info).
Judith Hackitt and Stephen Hughes have been appointed to the board of HS2 Limited, Department for Transport as non-executive directors (more info).
Mike Clancy has been reappointed as the member of the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas) Council (more info).
Professor Anil Kashyap has been reappointed as an external member of the Financial Policy Committee (more info).
Michael Sanders has been reappointed as an external member of Monetary Policy Committee (more info).
Brian McIntyre has been appointed as the first ever Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO) by the England’s national housing agency Home England (more info).
Sally Howes replaced David Southwood as chair of the UK Space Agency Steering Board (more info).
Les Allamby re-appointed to as Chief Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission (more info).
Mal Singh takes over as BPDTS Ltd’s Finance Director (more info).
Paul Whiting to replace Adele Downey as Chief Executive from 1st May on an interim basis (more info).
Grayson Perry reappointed and Vivian Hunt, George Weston and Philipp Hildebrand appointed as Trustees of the British Museum (more info).
Roderick Drummond has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain (more info).
House of Commons
Desmond Swayne replaced Robert Goodwill as a member of the Northern Ireland Committee.
Welsh Government
David Jones appointed as first Ofcom Board member for Wales (more info).
Martin Woodford appointed Chair of Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (more info).
Labour Party
Alex Cunningham appointed as a Shadow Housing Minister.
