Ian Duddy has been appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Chile in succession to Jamie Bowden.
Jon Loveday has been appointed as Director of Infrastructure, Enterprise and Growth at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority.
Juliet Davenport has been appointed as a member of the Crown Estate Board.
Jo McPhail has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Djibouti.
Ramin Navai has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Paraguay in succession to Matthew Hedges.
Richard Moore is to replace Alex Younger as Permanent Secretary and Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) in the autumn.
Sarah Flannigan and Jantiene T. Klein Roseboom van der Veer have been reappointed as board members of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for second terms of three years. Ian Karet, Michael Lear Derek Myers and Val Gooding have had their terms extended for six months.
House of Lords
Baroness Barker, Lord Caine, Baroness Healy of Primrose Hill and Baroness Watkins of Tavistock have been appointed to the panel of members to serve as Deputy Chairmen of Committees.
The Bishop of Manchester entered the House of Lords on 28 July.
Lord Darling of Roulanish (Labour, life peer) retired on 28 July.
Northern Ireland Executive
Carmel McKinney has been reappointed as Chair of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
Patrick McElroy has had his membership of the Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland Board extended.
Scottish Conservatives
Jackson Carlaw resigned as Leader on 30 July.
