Government departments
Tim Jones, Professor Elaine Kempson and Moray McDonald have been appointed as non-executive directors to the board of the Single Financial Guidance Body at the Department for Work & Pensions (more info).
Phil Gormley has been appointed Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary and Inspector of Fire & Rescue Authorities in England at the Home Office (more info).
Martyn Roper has been appointed Governor of the Cayman Islands at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).
Reverend Andrew Paul Rumsey has been nominated to the Suffragan See of Ramsbury (more info).
Alison Stevenson has been appointed as the first Director of Overseas Bases at the Ministry of Defence (more info).
Professor Penelope Endersby has been appointed the new Chief Executive of the Met Office at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (more info).
House of Commons
Kate Green has been elected as Chair of the Standards Committee. She has also been appointed as a member of the Liaison Committee.
House of Lords
Baroness Hollis of Heigham (Labour, Life Peer) died on 13 October.
National Assembly for Wales
