Dr Alastair McPhail CMG OBE has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).
Hugh Elliott has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Spain and Non-Resident Ambassador to Andorra at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).
Jeremy Pilmore-Bedford has been appointed as the new British Deputy High Commissioner in Chennai at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).
Neil Grant, Paul Kirkman and Jonathan Sands have been appointed as Trustees of the Royal Armouries at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (more info).

Jackie Doyle-Price has been appointed as the first Minister for Suicide Prevention at the Department for Health and Social Care.
Scottish Government
David Ulph and Francis Breedon have been named as members of the Scottish Fiscal Commission.
UK Independence Party
Kirstan Herriot has replaced Tony McIntyre as Chair of the UK Independence Party.
European Parliament
