House of Commons
This week the House of Commons is in recess.
- Clive Lewis resigned as Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
- Ian Lavery has replaced Jon Trickett as Labour’s Election Coordinator.
- Rebecca Long-Bailey has been appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
- Sue Hayman has been appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
- Christina Rees has been appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Wales.
- Peter Dowd has been appointed Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
- A motion of confidence in the Speaker John Bercow has been tabled.

- International Development – Ivan Lewis (LAB) joined; Albert Owen (LAB) left.
House of Lords
This week the House of Lords is in recess.
- Lord Gadhia has resigned the Conservative Party Whip, he joined the Lords in August 2016.
- There will be hereditary peer by-election on the 21st March 2017. This is to fill the hereditary seat left vacant by the death of Lord Lyell at the start of the year.
