Jo Johnson resigned as Minister of State for Transport and Minister for London.

Government departments

Jeff Glekin has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Plurinational State of Bolivia at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).

Mr Charles Hay MVO has been appointed British High Commissioner to Malaysia at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (more info).

Marian Spain has been appointed interim Chief Executive of Natural England at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (more info).

Marcus Harling, Professor Shearer West and Jonathan Yeo have been appointed as Trustees of the National Portrait Gallery at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (more info).

Hemant Patel has been appointed as interim Chair of the Royal Armouries at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (more info).

Mrs Johanna Ropner DL has been appointed as Lord-Lieutenant of the County of North Yorkshire at the Prime Minister’s Office (more info).

Geoffrey Carton-Kelly and Jason Baker have been appointed as joint Interim Managers of Achiezer Association Limited and Achiezer at The Charity Commission (more info).

 House of Commons

Jessica Morden has replaced Derek Twigg as a member of the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments.

Ben Bradley has replaced Jeremy Quin as a member of the Regulatory Reform Committee.

Robert Courts has replaced Iain Stewart as a member of the Transport Committee.

European Parliament

This week, the European Parliament will be in Strasbourg for Plenary sessions.
