Government departments
Attorney General’s Office
Lisa Osofsky has been appointed as Director of the Serious Fraud Office. She will take up this position from 3 September.
Department for Education
Kevin Mcloughlin, Robert Williams and Steve Fox have been appointed to the Construction Industry Training Board.
Dale Simon, Mary Gurrey, Karen Manners, Peter Sidebotham, Sarah Elliott and Susan Tranter have been appointed members of the new Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel from 29 June.
Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Charlie Mayfield has been appointed as a Trustee of the British Museum.
Mike Ashley has been reappointed as a member of the board of the Charity Commission.
Martin Daunton has been reappointed to the board of Historic England.
Department for Work and Pensions
Ian Wilson has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of BPDTS Ltd.
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
Jeremy Pocklington has been appointed to replace Helen MacNamara as Director-General of Housing in September.
Ministry of Justice
Mark Rawlinson joined as Lead Non-Executive Board Member, Nick Campsie and Shirley Cooper have been appointed Non-Executive Board Members.
Dr Phillip Lee has resigned from his position as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice. This is in protest at Brexit policy.
House of Commons
Glyn Davies has been discharged from the Environmental Audit Committee. James Gray has been appointed as a member.
James Duddridge has been discharged from the International Development Committee. Mark Menzies has been appointed as a member.
Sarah Champion has been discharged from the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee. Tulip Saddiq has been appointed as a member.
Tulip Siddiq and Rosie Duffield have been discharged from the Women and Equalities Committee. Teresa Pearce and Sarah Champion have been appointed as members.
Andrew Bowie and Emma Dent Coad have been discharged from the Work and Pensions Committee. Rosie Duffield and Justin Tomlinson have been appointed as members.
House of Lords
Lord Glentoran (Conservative, Hereditary Peer) retired on 1st June. A by-election to replace him will take place on a date that is yet to be confirmed.
Lord Woolmer of Leeds has been discharged as a member of the House of Lords EU Committee.
Lord Fraser of Corriegarth and Lord Woolmer of Leeds have been discharged from the EU Financial Affairs Sub-committee. Lord Giddens and Lord Cavendish have been appointed as members.
Baroness Chalker has been appointed as a member of the House of Lords EU External Affairs Sub-committee.
Lord Wei has been discharged from the EU Internal Market Sub-Committee. Lord Robathan appointed as a member.
Lord Gold has been discharged from the EU Justice Sub-committee. Lord Wasserman has been appointed as a member.
Scottish Government
Simon Routh-Jones has been appointed as Chief Inspector of Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
Welsh Government
Andy Fry has been chosen to replace Des Tidbury as Chief Fire and Rescue Adviser for Wales from July.
Heléna Herklots is set to replace Sarah Rochira as the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales.
European Parliament
This week, the European Parliament is in plenary session in Strasbourg.
