Irene Lucas has been named as Management Board Chair of the Education and Skills Funding Agency at the Department for Education (more info).
Kate Terroni has been appointed Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission within the Department for Health and Social Care (more info).
Michael Jary has been appointed as Lead Non-Executive Director at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (more info).
House of Lords
Liberal Democrat life peer Lord Smith of Clifton retired on 31 January.
Crossbench life peer Lord Cullen of Whitekirk retired on 1 February.
Nicola Blackwood (Baroness Blackwood of North Oxford) joined the House of Lords on 1 February.
European Parliament
This week, the European Parliament will be in Strasbourg for Committee and Group meetings.
