Edelman announces new digital chief for Europe
Edelman has appointed Grégoire Assémat-Tessandier head of digital for Europe.
In his role at Edelman, Grégoire will be responsible for developing international brands and positioning digital as a core consumer engagement driver among clients. He will also be responsible for developing and leading the digital teams across the European and computer information systems (CIS) network.
He will report in to Michael Stewart, CEO, Europe and CIS.
Grégoire joins Edelman from digital agency, DAN Paris, part of TBWAWorldwide, where he served as managing director of the agency. His clients at Dan Paris included Playstation, Michelin, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne, Vichy, SNCF, McDonalds and Amnesty International.
Kevin King, global chair of digital said: ‘We are at a critical juncture in communications. The online conversation has never been louder, further reaching, or more active. Social and digital marketing are no longer “nice to haves” in the communications mix, they are essential to a brand’s overall image, success and survival. Greg’s experience, commitment and drive make him the ideal person to deliver in this space for our clients.’
Grégoire added: ‘The integration of digital into the heart of Edelman’s practices is not just a bold move, it is the genuine pursuit of better servicing clients, designing stronger integrated strategies, and developing innovative, creative, powerful work.’
