Dark Art: an interview with Tim Burt
Tim Burt is the author of Dark Art: The Changing Face of Public Relations and joined Cision for an exclusive webinar discussing his views on journalism, public relations and the state of digital media.
Tim worked at the Financial Times for 16 years in a variety of roles including foreign correspondent, corporate reporter and media editor. From 2005 he has worked in financial and business PR, making a move he describes as swapping ‘prosecution’ for ‘defence’.
Now managing partner at Stockwell Communications, Tim is highly qualified to talk about the changing landscape of agencies and their need to manage reputations with more prediction, analytics and intelligence – helping their clients navigate the digital world.
In this 30-minute recording Tim also covers the route of hack to flack, the ‘erosion of trust in media standards’ and London as the ‘global laundrette’ for reputational issues.
