Burberry, Debenhams and John Lewis usher in Christmas with ad campaigns
The weather has turned and so has the flavour of advertisements because it’s that time of the year when all things lead to Christmas.
While the hashtag #Christmas has been trending on Twitter for the last week, it was super celeb scion Romeo Beckham, dominating conversations on Twitter with his appearance in Burberry’s first ever Christmas ad campaign.
Debenhams has rolled out its multi-million pound ‘Found It’ campaign across media channels.
Meanwhile, John Lewis promised on Twitter that its much anticipated TV commercial will air this week:
To those tweeters who have been asking about our Christmas Ad, we’ll be revealing it later this week – stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/pXUjNbO1FZ

John Lewis has timed its campaign with the turning on of the Oxford Street Christmas lights which it is sponsoring. As part of its Christmas campaign this year, the store will also launch a ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ app for Facebook and Twitter which will tweet festive messages from followers who sign up before this Thursday – the day of the switch on.
