Sam Meadows has been appointed reporter at Hertfordshire Mercury
Newsquest Media Group has appointed Toby Granville as editorial development director. Toby is currently group editor of Newsquest Dorset which includes the Dorset Echo and the Daily Echo in Bournemouth
Keith Ridley, has left his role as editor-in-chief for Johnston Press in East Sussex after a 42-year career in local newspapers and media., Keith has been responsible for the Herald and Gazette in Eastbourne, as well as the Hastings Observer series in Hastings, Bexhill, Rye and Battle, and latterly, the Sussex Express
· A new metered paywall has been launched for the Jersey Evening Post website

Justin Burns has been appointed assistant editor at Air Cargo Week

Backpass magazine has been acquired by Extra Time Publishing and renamed as Extra Time & Backpass
Joshua Atkins has been promoted to food editor at the LGBT lifestyle magazine, So So Gay. He was previously food writer at the publication
Matt Mueller has been appointed as the new editor of Screen International and ScreenDaily.com. He was formerly editor of Total Film for six years and the UK edition of Premiere magazine for three years.
Screen International has appointed Fionnuala Halligan as chief film critic and reviews editor
Luke Day has been promoted to editor of GQ Style. He was previously fashion director at the publication
Sinead McIntyre has appointed editor of The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous Magazine, after almost two years as acting editor
