Emma Burgess joins Context PR as account manager
Technology PR agency Context has hired Emma Burgess as account manager. She joins the agency from a global intranet company Interact, based in Cheshire where she was marketing and communications manager for three years. Prior to this, Emma worked in the marketing team at European mobile phone product distributor 2020 Mobile Group.
In her new role as account manager, Emma will provide complete PR support for a mix of consumer technology and B2B clients including a recent account win from the money saving website DiscountVouchers.co.uk. She will also manage clients’ online PR, content marketing and social media outreach.
Most recently, Emma led a successful social media training day for a global technology client. She presented best practice methods to the company’s senior executives on how they can better use Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs and YouTube to benefit the business and drive new sales enquiries.
“Companies are increasingly seeing the value of relevant online content and its importance in wider PR and marketing campaigns,” said Frank Smith, managing director at Context. ‘Emma’s new appointment supports our growth in these expanding markets.’
